So, huh... signed up for classes yesterday, a little scheduling conflict after the fact but I guess everything's fine. Ummm... Z-day is this Friday... My computer is unusable... what else... Next week is the last full week of classes then we have crit week. I have my junior review on the 21st... I'm kinda anxious about that.

I had a question for those peeps who know videogames. I want to play a nice variety of good games this summer so any suggestions?

Oh and for the SSS the night of May 25th your schedule better be as open as a whore's legs cause that's when I'm coming home and fuck yeah are we playing paper telephone and drinking juice bags.

I CAN Haz Jerzy [Oct. 18th, 2008|11:35 am]
[Current Location |Jackson]
[music |Ayumi Hamasaki: Boys and Girls]

So I'm home and it feels like a holiday... which is bad because I need to do homework... but its good cause I'm not in the risd bubble anymore. I surprised my mom yesterday which is the first time anyone has been able to do that without her expecting it and I'm glad I was able to do so. The drive was fine listen to teh musics and a podcast, and I'm so glad Carly tagged along so I wouldn't have to drive four and a half hours alone which was nice. It hit us that we weren't at risd anymore when we stopped at a rest stop off of the Garde State Parkway and felt "Holy shit we're art kids". I got home and only my dad was home so we put my car in the garage and three hours later my mom and grandmother showed up, and was completely surprised. My Grandmother that I got expelled. . . Silly Grandmother. We talked and ordered dinner and it was nice.
Meghan came over at 9:30 and we went to Applebees because we're from Jackson and that's what we do. Man we felt old. There was a homecoming from I think Freehold and the place was packed with highschool seniors so we waited about 45 minutes and enjoyed some pleasant Applebees' food with good company. Poor Meghan had her wisdom teeth out this morning, I wonder how that went. After Applebees Meghan, Carly and Kayla came back to my house for a nice round of Anal Rapage... That was also pleasant.
It was weird waking up at eleven this morning because thereis absolutely no traffic infront of my house and my room has shades that block out alllllll the light. Anyway it's weird to think I go back to RISD tomorrow morning but there is a Nads game tomorrow night and since the first one was an away game it would be nice to wear my sweatband and scream obsenities.

In other news I bought batteries from a dollar store in North Carolina and put them in my camera... That's when I thought my camera didn't work so yesterday I put Duracell and it works. So I've thought my camera was broken for the past two months but it wasn't... Fucking South. I did forget that I have some pretty fantastic pictures hidden away in that camera. Oh Nikki in cosplay.

Make your own kind of music even if nobody else sings along! [Aug. 26th, 2008|10:50 am]
[music |Mama Cass Elliot: Make your own kind of music]

I didn't work yesterday and it was fantastic. Carly, Kayla and I went over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house... I mean KJ's grandmother’s house in Long Beach which is an hour drive from here. It was a good drive I had made a fantastical play list for the occassion but I need to finalize it to make it even more epic. We got into Long Beach, oh man Long Beach is long, anyway KJ's Grandmother's house is so quaint and adorable I’ve always wanted to see what one of those beach houses looked like on the inside. It was exactly what I thought it would look like. We loaded up my car with as many boxes I think I could take and went to get delicious pizza for lunch. KJ’s Grandma was sooo nice, if you’re on Long Beach Island if you stand in the middle if you go two blocks on either side you can reach the beach, so since we drove an hour we wanted to go to the beach. Sooo KJ’s Grandma allowed us to parked the car in her driveway, she packed us a bag with beach towels and badges to get on the beach and allowed us to change in her house. Grandma’s are awesome <3. The beach was nice, not a lot of people there, but the water was really cold and the waves really mean. It started to thunder so that’s when we decided to leave. Later in the night we had a movie marathon with Meghan where we watched two fantastic musicals Chicago and Moulin Rouge <3 because I’ve never seen Moulin rouge and Meghan’s never seen Chicago and we both really enjoy each movie. During intermission we made a Wawa run and played a game of paper telephone.

Ritequik [Aug. 20th, 2008|02:49 am]
[music |One Winter: Asleep]

It sorta depresses me when the days start to get shorter leaving me in this odd nostalgic state.

North Carolina was full of win and fail, the state itself was sorta full of fail, the people I saw were full of win (and some fail). It was just really enjoyable to be around someone whom you haven't seen in a year. We didn't do anything too exciting, but just enjoyed the company and played alot of scrabble. Whack-a-Tit.

Jeremy Bear hit the north tower (aka Nikki)

The five days that I spent there went by so quickly, now I have two weeks before I go to school and I still need a bed.

Went to the beach last night: One word "Daaaammmnnnn". As the moon went through it's terror alert phases we were obnoxious and ate dippin dots and butterfly fries on the boardwalk. Thrown to the ground, the sand is still in my pockets.

Tonight we went to Applebees, everyone was there, but that's expected... It's Applebees. Mold water accompanied by bad tips but the smoothies were fantastic unlike my observations.

People are already leaving and what did I do this summer? Watch 90 hours of Lost. Worked 36 hours a week, and played 7 games of Paper telephone. No I'v realized I down play everything that happens in my life but all in all this summer just didn't feel like summer.

Rape Time! [Aug. 9th, 2008|12:03 am]
[music |Floggin Molly: Devil's Danve Floor]

Tomorrow I leave for teh North Carolina to visit an Eak! Which shall be all sorts of epic. But alas these past two days have been all sorts of epic also.

On Wednesday enjoyed night three of the Silent Hill 2 marathon, it was all sorts of amusing. Carly and I had a good time watching Alex, Sam, and Kayla shit themselves. First we made a Wawa run, which is a must, and Carly and Kayla brought over delicious Baked goods. When Sam arrived we picked up at the start of the prison where Lauren left off. When we got to the beginning of the Lakeview Hotel we enjoyed an intermission of paper telephone to keep everyone up. That round of paper telephone was our most racist to date... Oh Princess Peach getting boned by goombas while Hitler watched. We finished the game around five.

Six  hours later Alex, Carly, Kayla and I went and got pizza hut buffet and Nicole joined us. It was fantastic as was the jizz pizza. Unfortunately we were going to the beach afterwards so Pizza Hut buffet + beach is not the best pregame. We've been trying to get to the beach for the past three weeks and it was so worth it even though it was the Jersey Shore... Alex was getting all pretentious "Well I go to Ringling in Sorasota and the beaches there are fantastic" that's when I was told of Alex's plan of creating a theme park: Alex's World: Only attractive people can enter. We sunned and that's when the sun was all like "Oh look dark clouds, I'm going to hide behind them for like two hours" and we were all like "Fuck you sun, fuck you". Carly and I ventured into the water and it started off cold but after a couple of minutes it was fantastic, I even got my hair wet... Or should I say a wave got my hair wet. I body surfed it was fun. When I got home, cleaned up a bit and headed to Sean's house cause it was his B-day and there was icecream cake <3.

But yeah leaving for NC tomorrow, should be a fun ride. Now it's Dr. Who time.

What?!?! Is this an art post?!?! [Aug. 5th, 2008|11:18 pm]
[music |The Ting Tings: Great DJ]

So seeing as to how the summer is almost over I'll post some summer art!!! It's mainly me trying my hand at airbrush portraiture and I must say that it's going over pretty well airbrush wise... My drawing sucks big black cock. My plan of action was to start off in black in white, so I did a series of 3 black and white portraits of a whatever I had handy cause I don't have a printer so I took in Utada Hikaru's Deep River cd booklet. These were all done on used
T-shirts with fabric paint and Paasche airbrushes. Then the Paasches started sucking hardcore so I brought in my Iwata airbrush for the last one and Iwata's are amazing.

Magno Party is the best party. [Aug. 4th, 2008|03:25 am]
[music |Great Lake Swimmers: Where in the World are you]

The Magno Party was today and it was pretty rad. They've become tamer over the years (Though that rockband stage was pretty fucking epic) and it's turned into a day where we all can reunite and catch up with one another. A day where it's alright to request off from work and just have fun. Days like today make me miss high school alittle bit where I didn't work during the school year and I was able to see everyone constantly.

I figured out three of the reasons why this summer doesn't seem like summer to me and it makes me sad. At least I'm seeing one in a week.

PS. I think I ran over a skunk on my way home.

Alexa: "lol i sat in my car until the lightning stopped" [Jul. 24th, 2008|01:18 am]
[mood | amused]
[music |Great Lake Swimmers: Where in the World are you]

I barely ever post about work but today was sorta fantastic. By nine o'clock the park was empty but Kaman's is a lessee so no one tells us anything. It started to down pour at 9:20  and that's when Alexa gave us the word that we could close. By 9:30 Alexa, Alex and I were huddled in her characture stand and she was terrified. Alexa wanted to wait, Alex and I wanted to leave. So we tried running through Attitudes but they were closed already drenched we went through the arcade to pick up Cat at boardwalk. This whole time Thunder and lightning were going off and I was pretending the Zombie Apocalypse was happening because being in a deserted theme park sorta does that to me. Entering the arcade was a punch in the faice, with its airconditioning against our wet clothes. At the other entrance a manager was gazing out at the rain wondering his next move, he stood aside and responded with an accent "You guys can go". We ran to gather Cat, helped her close and ran for the trailer and the employee exit. It was fantastic to finally get out of the ran.

That was the probably the most fun I've had at Six Flags in a while.
